if you guys are unaware, I am extremely obsessed with The Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I did a post a couple of weeks ago when she first came out with some news, the bare minimum, and you can check that out here. In this post, I talk about how we are going to be receiving news in the future and some of the other basic knowledge – but as of a few minutes ago, that news has been received.
I have to tell you, the best part about this entire thing was that I screamed and started flailing/dancing in my chair in the middle of lunch. As in, in the middle of the cafeteria. Surrounded by people in their twenties. Yea… I’m guessing I looked certifiably insane. But, guess what? I DON’T GIVE A FUCK BECAUSE I AM SO GODDAMN HAPPY!
Guys, guys… I mean, Daemon Black. Daemon Black is coming to the big screen and it is officially official. Like, LOOK AT HIM!
*Cue screaming*
We now know that:
- Novelist/screenwriter Ava Dellaria (author of Love Letter’s to the Dead) will adapt Obsdian
- It will be produced by Mr. Mudd’s Russ Smith and Lianne Halfon
- The team for this adaptation is the same team that did The Perks of Being a Wallflower
There is no casting news or anything else yet, but this alone is huge. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS!?! It is happening, it is actually happening and you can’t stop it.
I am so excited right now, I’ve been internally screaming the entire time I was writing this post.
