Hi there everyone! I come to you today with the wonderful news that I was nominated for The Lovely Blog Award by Sumaya at Sue’s Reading Corner. I just want to say thank you, it means a lot to me that I was nominated – I put a lot of effort into my blog and my posts, and seeing that recognized is the highest form of praise.
Here are the rules for the award:
- Thank the nominator and link them
- List the rules and display the award
- Add seven facts about yourself

My cat’s name is Jasmine, I’ve had her since I was four years old. She is my baby XD My dogs names are Bailey and Pixie, Pixie being the newest addition to the household. I miss them so much! I’m away at school right now so I face time with them, lol. Do you have pets?

Aw I love those names! Oh I can imagine, especially since your cat has been with you for pretty much your entire life! Must be strange to not see her!
I used to have a canary called Arie (a Dutch name which rhymes with the Dutch word for canary – ‘kanarie’), but he passed away a little over a year ago 😦

Thank you! I named her after Princess Jasmine, but she ate Aladdin (He was my beta fish at the time). I also named Pixie, she is really tiny and only weighs about eight pounds – so the name fit perfectly. My mother named Bailey after the liquor, because why not? It is really hard, I wake up sometimes and forget I’m not home and I panic wondering where she is and why she isn’t on my bed. She is really old now, so my biggest fear is not being home when she passes.
I’m sorry DX I can’t imagine that. I’ve been refusing to think about her passing away, she’s been part of my life too long.

Oh wow I guess Jasmine didn’t want Aladdin to show her the world 😉 (sorry that was a terrible pun hahaha)
Aw Pixie sounds adorable! They all do though 🙂 Just the words ‘cat’ and ‘dog’ make me think of cuteness haha.
Aww yeah I understand! 😦 I hope she stays with you for a few more years! ❤

I love puns, trust me ; D I guess she didn’t want him too, but he must have tasted pretty darn good. I’ll never forget finding her after she ate him, she had part of his fin stuck on her tooth and hanging out of her mouth. She’s a vicious little beast that will snuggle you to death.
She is! I swear, she is literally the cutest dog I have ever met in my entire life. She’s got more personality in her little body than most humans do.
Thanks ❤ I hope so too. Every time I call home I always make sure all of my animals are okay so it sort of helps soothe my worries.

Haha that must have been a sight! It sounds like something that would happen in a cartoon 🙂 Snuggled to death by a cat sounds like a good way to go though!

She was just a little kitten then, it was so strange. How could something so cute eat something else? I was completely baffled, but I love her to pieces.
It totally is : D She has this habit of waiting for me to fall asleep and then crawling up and laying across my face. I always wake up with a mouthful of cat while she is just staring at me like “Yes, this is my human. You will suffocate human and enjoy it immensely.”

Yea, it’s horrible! I’m from Southern California, so we have rattlesnake galore. What about you?

That sounds like a nightmare! I’m from Holland. Closest thing to a snake we get to see here is some elderly person’s garden hose.
