OH MY GOD!!!! okay, this is going to be a post that consists of hardcore fangirling and will probably make no sense.

In case you don’t know, one of my all time favorite book series is The Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. The lovely lady herself has very recently, as in the last ten minutes, taken to Facebook/Twitter to announce that yes, an Obsidian movie is still happening and that there will be news in the near future.

*cue internal fangirl hyperventilation and squealing*

Do you have any idea how excited I am? I am literally going to be late for class because I sat down to write this as soon as I found out. Nothing can wipe the smile off of my face now! Not even you, Formal Logic homework.

So, basically what we know right now is this:

• Obsidian is still optioned for a major motion picture
• The option has been renewed, which apparently is a very good sign
• Things have happened, are happening, and will happen.
• Sierra Affinity Pictures is currently set to be producing the film. Their other movies include No Escape, The Keeping Room, and The Duff

Sadly, we do not know any more than this – but it is still enough to make me dance around my dorm room in my pajamas while screaming. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS!?! Daemon mother fucking Black is coming to the big screen, cue the panties dropping.
